Hospitals, health centres and clinics.
The hospital system, the network it runs on, the computers at each desk and the engineer you ring when one stops. One team, one contract.

A hospital that buys software from one company, a network from another and computers from a third finds out what that means the first time the lab cannot print: three suppliers, each sure it is the other two. We install all of it, so there is one number to ring.
Glide HMIS keeps the patient on one record from the registration desk through consultation, laboratory, pharmacy and billing, and keeps working when the power or the line drops, then syncs. It produces the HMIS 105 return and the DHIS2 export from what staff entered during the month, and assembles the insurance claim at the end of a visit instead of three weeks later from photocopies.

Where it has actually got to.
Ultra Medicare in Sonde is the first installation: the network is going in now and the system follows it. Kabalega Medical Centre in Hoima is set up and not yet live. Until either is running, the live demo is the honest way to judge the software.

- Can the system run on a server inside the hospital?
- Yes. Run it in our cloud, on a machine in your own building, or both. Some administrators want nothing leaving the compound, and the server can sit in a locked room you control.
- What happens when the internet goes down?
- Glide HMIS is offline-first. Registration, consultation, the lab and the pharmacy keep working through a cut, and the records sync when the line returns.
- Can you install the network as well as the software?
- That is the usual order. We survey the site, cable it, put in Wi-Fi and power protection, and the system goes onto a network we built and documented, so there is one team accountable for both.
