Structured cabling, Wi-Fi, switching and power protection for offices and campuses.
+256 742 020 610, Mon to Fri, 8:00 to 18:00 EAT.
What is in the scope
Design and installation of networks that keep working through power cuts: cabling, access points, managed switches, fibre links between buildings and UPS protection.
- Network design and cabling
- Campus Wi-Fi
- Fibre and inter-building links
- UPS and power protection
How an engagement runs
From first meeting to hand-over
- Survey
- Site walk, coverage plan, bill of materials.
- Install
- Cabling, equipment, labelling and testing.
- Document and support
- As-built diagrams and a support agreement.
Equipment and standards
We work with Ubiquiti, MikroTik and Fortinet equipment, and APC power protection.
Before you get in touch
- Will you have to shut the office down?
- No. Cabling, switching and migrations are staged outside working hours with a way back if the night goes wrong, because a network cut during a clinic or a trading day costs more than the work does.
- Can you link buildings on one campus?
- Yes, by fibre or point to point depending on distance and line of sight. A site visit settles which, and we will tell you when the cheaper option is the wrong one.
- Do you handle power as well?
- UPS and power protection are part of the design rather than an afterthought. In most Ugandan installations the power is the thing that takes the network down, not the network.
