How it works

One job, from the first screen to the last.

Patient arrivesRegister or find the patient, verify insurance, triage with vitals. Works from a queue ticket or a phone number.
Clinical workflowDoctors consult, order lab and radiology, prescribe. Results return to the same encounter.
Treatment and carePharmacy dispenses against stock. Wards chart vitals and drugs. Theatre and maternity keep their own registers.
Billing and reportsBills generate themselves from the encounter. Claims file to the insurer. Management sees the day on one dashboard.
The waiting area

A queue screen on the TV, so nobody has to shout names.

Tokens are called by counter with sound and voice. Patients see where they are. Management sees waiting time per service point, live.

Modules

The departments, one by one.

Turn on what your facility needs. Each module is a screen your staff will recognise.

Find a returning patient in seconds. Register a new one in under five minutes.

Search by name, phone number or ID. Capture next of kin, insurer and membership number once. Triage nurses record vitals and assign a priority the doctor sees immediately.

Glide HMIS patient registration form

Orders leave the consultation room and results come back to it.

Lab and imaging queues by department, with results attached to the encounter. Pharmacy dispenses against real stock, warns on minimums and expiries, and bills in the same step.

Glide HMIS pharmacy stock

Every bed, every admission, every nursing round on one screen.

Bed maps per ward, admissions with diagnosis and attending doctor, medication administration records and discharge summaries that print.

Glide HMIS inpatient admissions

Bills build themselves. Claims go out in days, not weeks.

Every order, drug and bed-night lands on the bill automatically. Cash, mobile money and insurer splits are handled per patient. Claims batch to 12 insurers. Management and Ministry of Health reports export without re-typing.

Declared and priced, but not built yet

Dental and Optical appear in the module registry and carry a price, and their screens today say "coming soon". We would rather you read that here than find it in week two. Ask us for a date before you plan a department around either.

Offline-first

The power goes. The network drops. The ward keeps working.

Glide HMIS runs on a server inside your facility or on your laptops. Staff keep registering, prescribing and dispensing. When the connection returns, records sync to the cloud and to your other sites automatically.

  • No data lost during outages, no double entry afterwards
  • Runs on ordinary hardware with a UPS
  • Cloud, on-premise or both

Questions a hospital board asks.

Does it work without internet?
Yes. The system runs on a server or laptops inside your facility. Staff keep working through outages and everything syncs when the connection returns.
Can we move from paper registers or another system?
Yes. Migration is part of implementation. We import existing patient records, price lists and stock, and reconcile them with you before go-live.
Where is our data stored, and who owns it?
You own it. It lives on your own server, in the cloud region you choose, or both. You can export everything at any time.
How do we pay?
Bank transfer, MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money, monthly or annually. Government facilities can be invoiced against a purchase order.
What happens when something breaks at 2 a.m.?
Facilities on the Hospital or Network plan have a named engineer and a support line answered at night. Response and resolution times for every plan are published on our service levels page.
