Data analytics
Dashboards and reporting on top of the systems you already run.
+256 742 020 610, Mon to Fri, 8:00 to 18:00 EAT.
What is in the scope
Management dashboards, board packs and regulatory reports fed directly from your operational systems, so the numbers are the same everywhere and nobody re-types them.
- Dashboards and KPIs
- Data warehousing
- Regulatory and donor reporting
- Data cleaning and migration
How an engagement runs
From first meeting to hand-over
- Agree the questions
- Which decisions the dashboard must support, and who reads it.
- Connect the sources
- Databases, exports, spreadsheets, third-party systems.
- Deliver and iterate
- A first dashboard in weeks, refined with the people using it.
Equipment and standards
We work with Power BI, Metabase, PostgreSQL and Python.
Before you get in touch
- Do we need to replace our systems first?
- No. Dashboards are built on top of what you already run. The work is usually getting the data out cleanly and agreeing what each number means, not replacing the thing producing it.
- Can you produce our donor and regulator reports?
- That is a large part of what this is for. Reports that are currently rebuilt in a spreadsheet every cycle can be generated from the systems the data already sits in.
- What if our data is messy?
- It usually is. Cleaning and migration are part of the scope, and finding that two departments have been counting the same thing differently is a normal first result rather than a setback.
